Sami likes to curl up tight, like a little dumpling.
Phoebe stretches long, toes pointed, tail flicked just so.
They sleep in corners, in sun patches, on our clean laundry.
Sometimes together. Sometimes apart.
Sometimes belly-up like they trust the whole world.
I donβt know why it calms me so much. But it does.
Maybe because when they sleep like this, it means they feel safe.
And if theyβre safe, maybe things are okay.
Here are a few quiet photos I wanted to share. Just them. Just sleep.
